Daniel's lineage can be traced back to Hungary and the Czech Republic. His grandparents fled the hardship of communist rule in the 50s, and eventually converged on Munich, where Daniel was born in 1987.
After spending his formative years in Munich, at age 15, Daniel moved to Dublin to pursue his education. After 4 years he graduated with the Irish leaving certificate and returned to Germany to work in the film industry for production companies like Roxy Film, based in Munich.
Daniel took part in several tv productions, ranging from crime series to romance and also historical features. He developed a huge interest and love for the cinema in the past few years and decided to dedicate his life to film making.
In the autumn of 2009, Daniel moved to London to attend the much acclaimed Film and Television undergraduate Skill Set Screen Acadamy course of the University of the Arts London.
Simple Simon is his first short feature and directorial debut. It was shot in May 2011 as part of a 16mm brief at London College of Communication.
